Congratulations to Patrick deWitt! DeWitt’s novel, The Sisters Brothers, has won a Governor General’s Literary Award. The Award, carrying a $25,000 prize, is Canada’s oldest and most prestigious award for English- and French-language Canadian literature. It is no surprise that we here in Library Land love this book, and we are thrilled that it is being lauded and recognized for the great work of fiction that it is.
