Bouchercon 2019 just wrapped up in Dallas, Texas, and we have some incredible news to share.
First, a huge congratulations to Lou Berney! His latest novel, November Road, swept all three major "Best Novel" awards at Bouchercon by winning the Anthony Award, Barry Award, and Macavity Award!
November Road is the only novel to win all three plus the Hammett Award for Best Novel in the same year!

Finally, Sarah Weinman’s The Real Lolita won a Macavity Award for Best Nonfiction at Bouchercon! David Grann, author of Killers of the Flower Moon, praised The Real Lolita as "a tour de force of literary detective work. Not only does it shed new light on the terrifying true saga that influenced Nabokov’s masterpiece, it restores the forgotten victim to our consciousness."
