Hey, good news: Harper is
launching a new line of books called Bourbon Street Books. This line will
focus solely on mysteries. Included will be original paperbacks as well as
oldies but goodies like Dorothy Sayers ’ Lord Peter Wimsey series. Also
included is Mar y Kay Andrews’ Callahan Garritty series. This
popular series, which featured Callahan Garrity, a former Atlanta cop, a
part-time sleuth and full-time owner of House Mouse, a cleaning service that
tidies up after Atlanta’s elite, was written under Andrews’ real name, Kathy
Hogan Trocheck and was a real library favorite when first published.
The first few original titles include The Hollow Man by Oliver Harris (PS: Val McDermid says this book is "a twisting spiral of lies and corruption, a pitch-perfect portrait of
contemporary London and a beguiling bastard of a hero—what a recipe for a
great read.” – Sold!), Blood Line, the seventh book in the Anna Travis series by Lynda La Plante, and Fear in the Sunlight by Nicola Upson.
Be sure to keep an eye out!
