José Andrés, the Michelin-starred, James Beard-winning chef and author of We Fed an Island and the upcoming Vegetables Unleashed, made headlines in 2017 when he and a group of chefs fed hundreds of thousands of desperate people in Puerto Rico following Hurricane Maria. Now, he is also setting up an emergency kitchen to feed the thousands of people affected by the government shutdown.
