May has finally arrived, and for me that means sunshine, flowers blooming, and the inevitable beginning of wedding season. To celebrate the return of warmth and outdoor ceremonies, I’ve picked out my Top 3 favorite romances currently available on Edelweiss. Fantasy, espionage, and bad boys are involved.
The Winter King by C.L. Wilson: Fantasy + Romance = I’m in heaven. The kingdoms of Wintercraig and Summerlea have been at war ever since King Wynter’s brother/heir was murdered and bride stolen by a Summerlea prince. The Secrets of a Scoundrel by Gaelen Foley: What’s a romance list without at least one historical romance? Better When He’s Bad by Jay Crownover: You can’t talk about romance these days without mentioning New Adult, and this is one of my upcoming faves in that sexy new genre. Jay Crownover takes bad boys one step further with Bax: sexy and dangerous tattooed criminal. Recently released after five years in prison, Bax wants answers, but the first thing he finds is Dovie, the sister of his former best friend—former because he’s the one who set Bax up—and she’s entirely too soft to be involved in Bax’s dark world. Dovie needs Bax’s help to find her missing brother, and when Bax’s attachment to Dovie becomes common knowledge to the criminal underground, Bax will give anything to keep her safe. Dark yet sweet and redemptive, this story from the wrong side of the tracks will get your heart racing and have you rooting for a bad boy.
